ATS-friendly CV example for Indonesia
Whether you apply in Bahasa Indonesia or English, the file still has to parse. This pattern works for local ATS tools and regional boards.
What the Indonesian examples usually skip
News articles rank for "contoh CV ATS friendly" with a full-page picture of a fictional person. The picture is the product. You cannot select the job title. Copying the biography copies a company you did not work for. This page is the other object: how a CV that will actually be uploaded to a Indonesian employer survives as text, including when the ad mixes Bahasa Indonesia with SAP, closing, or customer service.
Follow the ad's language for the tool names. Do not translate SAP into "sistem perusahaan" to sound more local. Do not translate a Bahasa Indonesia admin ad into a stiff English template you found on a US site. The search box on their side uses the words they typed. Your file should too, next to work that happened.
A usable pattern, not a fake person: employer, city if it matters, title, dates, then a bullet with the document and the tool. For a Jakarta trading company that might be Accurate or SAP and a close date. For a school it is the subject, the grade, and the curriculum name. For a clinic it is the ward and the license as text, not a photo of the STR glued to the header. Fill the pattern with your facts. If a sentence from an article's sample names a firm you do not know, it is not your sentence.
Run the PDF you built through the free Resume Score before you pay anyone to "ATS-kan" it. If Parse Rate is already high, a monthly CV service is selling you a design pass. If it is low, the fix is the text layer, which you can do in Word today.
Make the text selectable
Put your name in the body of the document, not only in a colored header. Use one column. Headings a person would say out loud are enough: Experience, Education, Skills. Each role is a block with the employer, the title, and dates as text, then bullets. Do not build the layout from tables, text boxes, or a row of software logos. Word can do this. A poster app usually cannot.
Export a PDF and try to drag across one bullet. If the highlight skips, the words are still a picture. Upload that PDF to the free check at `/resume-score/`. Parse Rate is the share that came out as clean text. It is a JobHoot heuristic, not a reading from any employer's ATS. Resume Score on the same page is about the document, with no account and no job ad. If Parse Rate is low, fix the file and upload again before you think about keywords.
Then match one posting, if you have one
Job Match Score needs a sign-in and one vacancy. It lives at `/ats-checker/`, which is not in the sitemap. It asks whether this file uses that ad's words next to work you did. It does not average itself with Resume Score into a single ATS score. The marketing line can still say ATS score, because that is the search. The result page should not.
A token costs Rp 250 when an AI write succeeds. A new account gets 50 tokens once. The guest score does not spend them. The smallest purchase later is 100 tokens, Rp 25.000. Do not spend one to invent an employer, a degree, or a date. If the ad wants a license you do not hold, leave the gap.
What to send
Send the PDF whose text you could copy. Keep the designed poster for a human who asked for a visual, and even then keep a text version. Switching templates inside JobHoot does not delete the lines you typed, and the export stays text. A PNG downloaded from a gallery is not a template you can be searched through.
Local paperwork that is still just text
KTP numbers, photos, and expected salary show up on Indonesian forms because a human asked for them. They do not make the file searchable. If a portal requires a photo, put it in the upload field the portal gave you, not as the only way your name exists in the PDF. Write STR, NPWP, or a degree as characters when the ad asked for them. A photo of the certificate in the margin does not contain those characters.
Job boards in Indonesia will still accept a designed file. Acceptance is not parsing. You can be "successfully applied" and absent from the recruiter's search. The free Resume Score is the check you run before the portal, on the same PDF you are about to attach. It will not tell you the board's vendor. It will tell you whether the words survived your export.
If the portal shows the extracted text before you submit, read it. Empty fields mean you are about to send the poster. Go back to the PDF that select-all can read.
