Both tools exist so you do not pay for AI until you know what to fix. They answer different questions.
ATS Checker (signed in)
Pick or paste a job. The checker scores your resume against that description and can suggest tailoring. Rewriting with AI costs a token; the check itself is for logged-in users.
A simple sequence
Score the PDF free → build or import in JobHoot → run ATS Checker on the vacancy → tailor and generate a cover letter only if the match is worth it.
